...then the "wife" and I decided to go for lunch somewhere in the city...the weather was absolutely beautiful...almost like summer....the non existing pedicure did not allow us to wear our flip flops but short sleeved T's were in......we picked an old fashion taverna where the food was heavenly delish!
...gigantes me spanaki (beans with spinach), hortopita (green pie)...
...melintzanes me tiri (eggplants with cheese and tomato sauce)...
...kolokithakia gemista (stuffed squash), tzatziki....
...and for dessert they brought us apples with halva...and of course raki (Greek grapa)

...the May wreaths were hung everywhere...it's a Greek tradition, we collect flowers on the first of May, make a wreath and hang it outside our door...

...this little gentleman became our friend...I still don't understand what he was selling! I guess his best smiles, because he was sweet and friendly...

...this sweet lady was celebrating her wedding anniversary and I caught her coming out of a restaurant...
...it was too nice to go home, so the "wife" and I sat at a little cafe at the platia (little square) near her house and enjoyed a cup of coffee...
...a new week is starting tomorrow...give and receive love....think of good things...say "thank you" to little nothings...
