...I "stole" this picture from Lynn who writes on the About.com Greek food blog! She's in Athens these days making everybody drool...she happens to be an excellent chef...I can easily say that I'm jealous of her!...us Athenians don't visit the Parthenon often because...it's always there! But when a visitor comes we see it through his eyes and we become very patriotic...the ancient Greek in us, wakes up and we feel proud...
...it stands there overlooking at our cement city, reminding us every day of our roots...of the blood that was shed...the civilization that was spread...giving us hope...
....don't ever forget your roots or who you are...don't erase any kind of history...without it there's no future...
