Para Soniar...

...someone who talks to your heart...who supports you no matter what...who always offers a shoulder to cry on....
...a soul whose heart is pure...who encourages you...laughs at your jokes...always speaks her mind and sometimes scolds you for being an idiot...
...the one who almost likes the same things as you...gets upset when you disappear for days when you want to cocoon...becomes your "mule" when you want things from abroad...and takes you to the best Brazilian place for the most painful pedicure!!!!
...me - Bil...you - Bao!!!!

Y ahora.....

...I hate standing in front of all of you, having to apologize for this disgrace...trying to convince you that we don't all act or think the same....that this is still the place where the arts, democracy, philosophy, medicine were born...trying to tell you that we still carry in our DNA the wisdom and pride of our ancestors...it's not us who have created all this...
...there's a candle burning for those who lost their life, yesterday, and there's a promise from our side that we will do our very best, for the children that we hold in our arms, to be responsible, honest, pure, good people, with a positive dream for the future...

...the May wreaths were hung everywhere...it's a Greek tradition, we collect flowers on the first of May, make a wreath and hang it outside our door...

...this little gentleman became our friend...I still don't understand what he was selling! I guess his best smiles, because he was sweet and friendly...
...the Athenians had taken all the chairs in the cafes, enjoying their coffee and sweets, and of course the summery weather...

Deseo que...

...I remember when I was a little girl on the first of May or a few days later, my mom would take me to the north side of the city where a floral fair was taking place, and we would buy our gardenias, zinnias, roses and jasmins...it was a big event for me because on a Sunday afternoon we would take the bus and go all the way to the northern suburbs visit the huge magical garden of the fair, and afterwards the high light was to go have ice cream at a nice pattiserie...
...nobody is working today...there's a "Sunday silence" all around...the sun is warm...I hear the birds outside...the sound of a car that just went by...the low sound of our television in the background...children still sleeping...
...enjoy your day and the new month...
