...magestic...historical...contemporary...beautiful...
...everywhere I turn to I hear people speaking in Spanish!
...I caught myself carrying a conversation with waiters, airport people, the taxi driver...I'm in Spain!
... then we hit the road with some friends...
...we took the Grand Via and found an amazing Argentinian restaurant called "De Maria"...
...all the meat had come from Argentina and was grilled right there...
... for someone who doesn't really like meat, I can say that I loved it!
...we started with a fantastic carrot soup that came in shot glasses....
...then empanadas con carne....
...and then came the meat...
...nice Argentinian wine, salads...and...
...the desserts made in heaven...
...to finish the meal...melon sorbet...
...after our 3 hour meal we decided to walk back to our hotel and just see the city...
...so here's Madrid right before the sun went down...

Oh I'm jealous. You are in Madrid while I have to study for my Spanish exam next Monday. I hate "el subjuntivo" !!!
